{Pop of Color} Summertime Look

Summer is just around the corner and it’s a great time to experiment with fun, bold pops of color. Hot pink lips, bright orange lips… why not both? For this look, K. rocked a bright pink and orange ombre lip with a small wing on the eye. We kept everything else pretty clean and simple because we wanted the lips to POP!

Here is breakdown of this look:

{Skin Prep} Sonia Roselli Beauty Water Balm Skin Prep
{Corrector + Concealer} MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NC20 + NC25
{Foundation} Bobbi Brown BBU Palette Golden + Warm Honey
{Powder} Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder
{Cheeks + Highlight} MAC Cremeblend Blush in Brit Wit; The Balm Mary Lou Manizer Highlighter
{Eyes} MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ocre; MAC Eyeshadow x 15 Warm Neutral palette; Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink; NYX Wonder Pencil in Light in waterline; Covergirl Plumpify Blast PRO Mascara in Very Black
{Eyebrows} Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow in Taupe + Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder in Taupe
{Lips} Urban Decay 24/7 Lip Pencil in Cruz; Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Intense lipstick #36 (pink) + Rouge Artist Intense #40 (orange)

After we snapped a few photos with the ombre lip, we decided to change up the look a bit. I still wanted a bright bold lip, but I wanted a fire engine red! I was inspired by the flowers in my backyard and I ran with it. I used Make Up For Ever’s Rouge Artist Intense lipstick in #42 with a bit of #40 mixed in to create this hot red lip color. It looked so good on K! Let me know what you think!
