Let’s Talk About Prom!

Let’s chat about prom for a bit! Prom is a super exciting time for most high school juniors and seniors! Aside from graduation, prom may be one of the most important days in high school! I still remember my junior prom like it happened yesterday. Let’s not talk about how long that’s been! I remember all the excitement that surrounded prom, spending hours getting all glammed up, and doing makeup on a few friends!

Last year, I had a blast doing makeup on my prom clients as well as a Prom Fashion Show at Canyon High School in Santa Clarita. I loved seeing how pumped these girls got to have their makeup done and seeing the confidence it brought when they looked at themselves in the mirror when the makeup was complete. If a little bit of makeup can make a girl feel so much more confident… mission accomplished.

For this prom look, my model, K. and I decided to go with a simple look with fun, girly lashes, and a nude lip. She looked absolutely stunning! Sidenote: Doesn’t she look like a young Julia Stiles? So pretty!
